Machelle Allman (she/her) - Co-Founder, Mythodical Ensemble; Ignis in A Series of Small Cataclysms
Machelle last worked with Jen, Carolynne, and Rebecca on Mythfest, and has been eager to see what the Muses bring next. She is a part of the on-going Brass multi-platform production and is a musician and fiber artist. She volunteers for Rain City Rock Camp for Girls and mom to a high-schooler.

Jen Smith Anderson (she/her) - Playwright/Producer, A Series of Small Cataclysms
As a Seattle-based playwright, actor, producer, and voiceover artist, Jen approaches her work with passion, integrity and always with a positive, collaborative disposition. Some of Jen's favorite roles include Zuzu from It's a Wonderful Life, Anna from The Baltimore Waltz and Fat Lyza from Riding the Bull.

Stacey Bush (she/her) - Chorus, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Stacey is an actor, costumer and fight coordinator who has been working for and on various Seattle stages since graduation from Whitman College. Recent credits include Seattle Repertory Theater, MAP Theatre, Macha Theater Works & Macha Monkey Productions, Annex Theatre, 14/48 Productions and Theater Schmeater. She is excited to be working on this show with this fabulous group of people. Much love to her family and friends.

Kim Douthit (she/her) - Chorus, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Kim received her BFA in theatre arts from Hofstra University and her post grad degree in Classical acting from LAMDA. She's worked as an actor, director, playwright and educator in New York and Seattle. She also works as a paranormal investigator. She is thrilled to be working with such a great and creative group!

Ralph Fontaine (he/him) - Director, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Ralph received his BA at the University of Southern California, and has worked in front of and behind the camera in Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle. As an actor, Ralph trained at the Sanford Meisner School in North Hollywood, and has been seen on stage as Menelaus in Helen McLaughlin's award-winning Helen, and in various roles in many original plays and independent films. Behind the scenes, he’s directed several one act plays for Seattle festivals, the webseries The End of Tomorrow and Causality, as well as segments for MTV & The Discovery Channel. Ralph is influenced and inspired by character-driven narratives that explore relationships, philosophy, and humanity-especially when they contain some humor.

Rebecca Goldberg (she/her) - Tara, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Rebecca Goldberg is a theater artist who loves ensemble pieces and new works and is therefore thrilled to be part of A Series of Small Cataclysms. Locally, she’s worked as an actor with Pony World Theatre, Macha Monkey, Live Girls!, ReAct, and the dearly departed CHAC and Theatre Babylon. She also works as a playwright (The Twelfth Story at Annex Theatre), director (MythFest with Mytholodical Ensemble and Proof with Blank Stage Theater), and sometimes both (The Yellow Wallpaper at Blank Stage Theater). She takes a DIY approach to theater and is particularly proud of her solo show Me vs. My Subconscious.

Adem Hayyu (he/him) - Lighting Designer, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Adem Hayyu is a Lighting Designer for Theater based in Seattle who is a recent graduate of Franklin High School and is a first-year Performance Production student at Cornish College of the Arts. He is also an alum on Intiman Theater’s STARFISHProject. Majority of his time is spent on learning and understanding the many ways to perfect the artistic craft of Lighting Design in both the creative and technical aspects. Outside of Lighting Design, Adem enjoys working close to the South Seattle Theater community. Recent design credits include Queen Street (Randy Ford + CD Forum), Ghostbusters (Orca K-8 School), Steel Magnolias (Franklin High School), and The Wiz, (Franklin High School). Adem is honored and grateful to Mythodical Ensemble for giving him the chance to work alongside this wonderful ensemble and is excited for the final product of this collaborative art.

Jacob Kennelly (he/him) - Videographer & Sound Designer, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Jacob is a Seattle native and creative who has taken a liking to creative and experimental video editing, especially involving archival footage. He is also a musician in several Seattle bands (The Whags, Moon Darling) and he is beyond excited to have the opportunity to create something special for this production.

Kirsten McCory (she/her) - Chorus, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Kirsten McCory is a writer, performer and voice over artist. She has spent the last three years working in the mental health field and is eager to get back to making some amazing art.

Melanee Nelson (she/her) - Chorus, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Melanee has been performing since childhood (acting, singing, dancing). She earned a BA in Drama from San Francisco State University and acted locally in several plays, commercials and films, then continued that trajectory in Los Angeles. After many years, she escaped to Seattle before The Biz ate her soul alive; this is her first stage performance here and she couldn’t be more excited.

Jeremy is excited to be working as a stage manager for Cataclysms. He last stage managed 99 Tropes at 12th Avenue Arts last year, which was his first foray into professional stage management. He also acts, designs, and works as a stagehand around the Puget Sound area when he's not working as an educator for the Renton School District. In his spare time (or which there is little) Jeremy likes visiting with friends and going on adventures to find new places.

Brandon Scalf (he/him) - Set Designer, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Brandon is excited to be a part of this production. He has been doing Set Design for local community theater for about 10 years now. Highlights include: Sweeney Todd, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and Into the Woods. When he's not playing creative genius, he enjoys home remodeling projects, and making fun of his cats with his husband.

Jessica Stepka (she/her) - Aria, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Jess Stepka has been tromping around Seattle stages since a local institution gave her a BFA in acting in 2004. She has also spent summers spouting the likes of William Shakespeare to local residents before helping herself to their picnics. She is honored to continue sharing stories with audiences and making art with such wonderful people.

Christine Shaw (she/her) - Ma/Eris, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Christine is excited to be involved with Cataclysms after participating in stages of its development over the past few years. Christine has a background in bodywork, psychology, theater and music. In the past 21 years of doing theater in Seattle, Christine has performed with: 14/48 Productions, UMO Ensemble, Theater Schmeater, Green Stage, Seattle Theater Works, Atlas Productions, Integral Dramatics, and Open Circle Theater. Favorite roles include: Eleanor in The Lion in Winter, Teresa in Memory of Water, Ms. White in Reservoir Dolls, Ruth in Pirates of Penzance, Elvira in Blithe Spirit, and WSIWYG in UMO Ensemble’s Maldoror. Tim received his BA in broadcast journalism from the University of Texas at El Paso. He has worked as a segment producer/director at TV stations in every time zone in the continental U.S. He is an Emmy Award winner and has won other local and national awards. As for stage work, he was a stage manager for Twelfth Night Productions’ presentation of Shrek. He also stage-managed their fundraiser cabarets for the past three years. He is excited about contributing to this production’s storytelling through the selection of props.

Carolynne Wilcox (she/her) - Co-Founder, Mythodical Ensemble; Playwright/Producer & Vesi, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Carolynne is a Seattle-based actor/playwright/producer/graphic designer who has worked locally with MAP Theatre, ACTLab, eSe Teatro, Thriving Artists and Freehold Theatre Lab/Studio to name a few. She is beyond excited to FINALLY put Cataclysms on stage with this badass, estrogen-fueled ensemble, seven years after worldbuilding began in her living room in 2013! She holds an MFA in Original Works from Towson University.

Keegan Wreden (they/them) - Costume Designer, A Series of Small Cataclysms
Keegan (@asterism.creations on Instagram) is a non-binary costume designer and artist of numerous mediums. They paint and embroider on found jackets, shoes and accessories, make one-of-a-kind recycled buttons and collages, jewelry, and anything else that makes their heart happy. They love thrifting and giving old things a new life. They're a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts Performance Production program and received their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fall of 2016. In Seattle, Keegan has had the pleasure to work with WET, Horse in Motion, ACT, Intiman, West of Lenin, Freehold Theatre, Strawberry Workshop Theatre, Cornish, and more. They are excited to work on A Series of Small Cataclysms!
